Hey!

I’m back at in the land of the living. Aside from being tired, and feeling a little worn, I’m ok!! Whoohoo!

Sicker

more…yuck.

Sick

Nasty. Flu. Enough said.

R’s first Recital

Today was R’s first piano recital. She did great! She played a piano piece, played the triangle with her class, sang a song with her class and sang in a choir.

She didn’t seem nervous at all. I am so amazed!

Snow more and more snow…

We’ve had a dumping of snow. It’s nasty, unexpected and entirely unwanted. I knew that one more dumping of snow was coming, but I had thought that it would happen in March. Alas I was wrong. I feel so terrible for all my bulbs that are struggling to come up!
Here’s hoping it is winter’s last horah.

Hmmm….that’s an odd name

So we were outside today with our neighbours visiting, and the kids were playing together. They were digging in the rocks, sweeping and riding their bikes. At one point our neighbour D asks R as she is riding by what the name of her bike is. Are you ready for it??

As cool and calm as can be, she say “Why ‘Tropical Diseases’ of course” as she sailed by. What a kid.

How can you not smile at that?

The Glockenspiel

So R has liked taking music lessons. Well, to be quite honest, she isn’t keen on the lessons per say, but she enjoys the things she learns, and has a knack for it.

She volunteered to be one of the “talents” at a Youth silent Auction and dessert night at our church. So she played “Lucy Locket”. She did a great job. The huge round of applause she got surprised her though. Later on she even told the whole room a joke. I sense show biz in our future!

Look what my brilliant baby can do!!
