We were at the African Lion Safari today.\u00c2\u00a0 It was a fun day.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 The highlight for Albert was feeding the goats.\u00c2\u00a0 I must admit it was fun as well, and R wasn’t afraid of the goats this year!\u00c2\u00a0 She had a great time feeding them.\u00c2\u00a0 Daddy distracted some of the larger more agressive goats, and she would walk over and try to find a specific goat to feed.\u00c2\u00a0 It was hilarious.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We went on a train ride around the site, saw Elephants go for a swim, R had a pony ride, and of course we drove through the safari, hence the title.\u00c2\u00a0 These very large deer (Elands actually, 2metres plus tall) boxed us in, one at the front driver’s side, and one at the left rear.\u00c2\u00a0 And directly in front was a Buick.\u00c2\u00a0 We had to wait until the Elands got bored.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0For the first time we actually took our own car through the monkey area.\u00c2\u00a0 We were very disapointed to be dissed by all the monkeys.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 They were climbing other cars and sitting on them, but not ours!\u00c2\u00a0 :-(\u00c2\u00a0 We have to find a pick up truck to go through with next time, as the monkeys could not stop jumping in and out of the pick-up beds.\u00c2\u00a0 Great fun.\u00c2\u00a0 Check out R and the goats in the gallery.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
