When I picked R up from ECEC, she brought home a coloured picture of a jack-in-the-box.\u00c2\u00a0 That wasn&#8217;t so memorable, but the top part of the page was, she had written the first 4 letters of her name!!\u00c2\u00a0 Wow.\u00c2\u00a0 I was so impressed, and she kept insisting she had help, meaning the techer&#8217;s aid had written in the last 3 letters.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>So this afternoon as we were playing in the front yard, I encouraged her to spell her whole name, and the result is in the picture.\u00c2\u00a0 Not bad!\u00c2\u00a0 Ok, well she ran out of interest with the last 2 letters, but man 7 letters is a long name for this age!\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We are so proud!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a memorable day!!
