Not that you can tell from this picture, but J smiled at me for the first time today! Daddy was a witness. Although, I think he already smiled at daddy yesterday. Oh well. There were several other “firsts” today as well. R went on a school field trip to a local apple cider mill, and took a school bus for the first time. I asked her how it went and she said she felt a bit queezy. Great. I mentioned that next time she shouldn’t sit at the back, but try the front. She promptly told me she didn’t sit at the front because she sat where her teacher told her to! She also brought home her first school yard poem about a stinky skunk etc. Great.
