How do I respond?

Things are getting more complex around our house. R says things and I have no idea how to respond.  The other day at breakfast R was making a sticky mess with her jam. I said to her “R, I get very upset when you make such a mess with your sticky hands”.  Well doesn’t she respond with “Well I get upset when you talk to me like that!” What a cheeky monkey!
Yesterday on the way home from preschool, I ask her if she dressed up at school today, she replied ‘yes’. So naturally I asked her “What did you dress up like”? She responds with “As”. I said “What??” she replies “As…What did you dress up as, mummy”. Am I now taking grammer lessons from my 3 year old?? Is this normal?
