What to do with a cranky, crying baby…

Birthday party

Check out this amazing cake. We have a fantastic neighbour who does this as a business. R was set on a Wizard of Oz cake, so voila!

Cuteness

I put E on the carpet today for her first session of tummy time. She did great, didn’t cry. I think she was blinded by the colourful blanket! R came over and I snapped some more cute pics!

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday darling, I can hardly believe you are 8 years old!!

E smiles

Right after throwing up on daddy!

smiles

E seems to be giving me a few smiles, but only in the early evening. Today after a giant burp, she decided to grin at me. It was so sweet, and she did it a few times in a row (smile, not burp). Ahhh. Makes it all worthwhile.

Three kids on the couch

Looks like the older two are plotting…

My hairdryer is magic

E really really enjoys my hairdryer. She loves it drying her after a bath, she calms down pretty instantly. In fact she was a bit fussy yesterday evening, daddy turned the dryer on her for about 20 seconds, and she was out like a light.

The boys

So all of us (minus R who was in school) went out for breakfast. I took out my Blackberry to check my email, and J grabbed it. I just had to snap this picture, as he studiously pressed as many buttons as he could…

Swilky and swinty

Remember those terms? E smelled a little off today, and I blame it on the swilky and swinty (Sweat + milk and sweat + lint). Daddy bathed her. Above she is contrent and stretching before bath…
Here she is not keen on the process…

Here she is feeling content as it is quite warm.
