Last Kindermusik class for R

Today was monumental. It was R’s very last class in the kindermusik series. She has now completed Recorder Orff. Sigh. It was lovely, the class played together, and also in pairs. I’ll try to post the video later. J was a great listener, and sat quietly while they all played. Little miss E fell asleep! Yup, 8 kids playing recorder can’t keep her awake!

Multicultural day

R dressed up for her Multicultural Day at school. She was wearing her Chinese dress. I was there for the assembly, and it was amazing!

E in Bumbo

Here is little miss E in the Bumbo for the first time! She seemed to like it!

And here’s my new neice!

Flying leaps with the boy

J surprised me all day long. He seems to have made great strides overnight. He walked down our garage stairs by himself, the main stairs by himself (usually he DEMANDS my HAND), climbed on the couch and climbed up on the kitchen bench. I also heard him singing Ba ba black sheep. Crazy!

A night away

A and I managed a night away in TO with little E with us. (thanks grandma and grandpa!) We spent some time at the Eaton Centre and daddy had fun trying hats on our little girl.

Little miss E was dedicated today at church. It was a lovely service.

R gets some tinsel

As part of R’s bday last week, we finally got her hair trimmed. Lone behold, they also did tinsel there. So she has some tinsel woven into her hair, it should last about 2 weeks before it falls out. She was thrilled. The little man also got his hair cut, he did really well. He did keep repeating “All done” though! He loves the little people BBQ play set there.
