J and the cat

Little J has a cold again. We got him checked out at the doctor, and he is ok. We know signs of laboured breathing to watch for, and we have some medicine to give him if he is having trouble. Still, it is worrisome for us.

Anyways. He has trouble sleeping in the early part of the night. He wakes himself up, but then if he cries, he gets all snottery, and then cries more, and gets more snottery…and so the cycle continues. So for the last 2 nights he has stayed up later with us in the evenings. Last night he was on Albert’s lap, and of course our cat Cedes insisted on being there too. J had a great time. He was pulling on Cedes fur, banging on her, and then of course leaning in for a lick. He didn’t even seem to mind the mouth full of cat hair after. The cat was remarkably tolerant.
